Lollo Meier and Tcha Limberger at Djangofest 2011

This show - featuring guitarist Lolo Meir and violinist Tcha Limberger - was held in Mill Valley as a part of the 2011 Djangofest.   Both were amazing musicians and would also have made a perfect comedy duo.  Meir was large and broad-shouldered, and he hammered in each solo with stoicism and efficiency.  On the other side of the stage, Limberger was diminutive and fidgety, playing with his hair and cracking himself up every time he introduced a new song.  Together they went through Reinhardt songs, standards, and some of Meir's originals, joined by Tommy Davy on rhythm guitar and Andrew Kratzat on stand-up bass.
