We were surprised after taking down a panel by several angry wasps and realized that the inside of the shed was home to three small nests. I'm not usually a fan of using products like RAID to get rid of bugs, but none of us liked the idea of working around a bunch of wasps, so we used a very effective long-range spray to get rid of them. Tucked away in the corner there was also a small wooden 'treasure chest' that we were all sure would contain the most entrenched and horrific insects in the structure, and I was more than a little disappointed to open it up and find just a few scattered seeds and a couple pennies stamped with the word "COPY". Even the treasure was bunk!
After taking down the shed Katie and I went for a walk down a public walkway near the airport where you can watch the airplanes landing and taking off and reveled in the marvel of that particular american invention, which given the weather was just as exciting to look at as the obligatory bunch of fireworks that we heard but didn't see that night.
